A delicious EGG FREE cake that is so simple and easy to make the whole family will love.
1.5 Cups Flour
1.5 cups Fine Semolina
2 teaspoons Baking powder
2 teaspoons Turmeric
1 teaspoon fine Anis powder (yansoon)
0.5 cups vegetable oil
1.5 cups milk (Liquid)
0.75 cups of sugar (3/4 cup)
Grilled sesame seeds for the topping
Mix the Flour with Fine Semolina, baking powder, turmeric, and anis powder.
Add the oil and mix until the oil is well mixed in.
Add milk and sugar and mix well for about 2 minutes with handheld mixer (medium speed)
Place in greased pan and sprinkle sesame seeds across the cake mix.
Place in preheated oven 180 degrees for around 30 minutes – or until toothpick comes out clean.
Once finished leave to cool and then cut into squares.
